What if I arrive earlier than my reservation? Is it possible to stay longer than my reservation?
Our system is flexible:
- If you arrive early, parking time will start from the moment of arrival (up to 12 hours in advance).
- If you stay longer, you can simply make up the time on the spot. So there's no need to worry about your reservation being forfeited or invalidated - the system will adjust to your arrival and departure.
If I have a reservation, can I enter and exit the car park repeatedly during the reservation?
Yes, you can enter and exit freely for the duration of your reservation. However, you must activate your reservation with a QR code at the entrance barrier each time you enter.
How can I get a tax receipt for parking?
A receipt will be issued by the parking machine upon payment. If you have lost your receipt, please do the following:

What should I do if I lose my parking ticket? How do I get to the car park and how do I pay?
If you've lost your parking ticket, don't worry - you can get in and out of the car park simply by using your vehicle's number plate:
- Access to the car park:
Please enter your vehicle registration number at the door openers.
Access will only be granted if the vehicle is inside the car park. - Payment of the parking fee:
Select the payment option by number plate at the payment machine and enter it at the cash desk.
Parking fees can be paid in cash (CZK) or by credit card. - Exit the car park:
After payment, the barrier opens automatically thanks to the number plate recognition system. If the barrier does not open, contact the operator and present proof of payment - the operator will allow you to exit.
How can I book parking in advance?
Simply book online in the section Book parking
You enter the date and time and the system will check availability and offer you a space. After successful booking, you will receive an email confirmation and a QR code to use on arrival and departure.
Do I have to book parking with you in advance?
You do not need to book parking in advance. We are a large-capacity parking for the historic centre of Prague. We have enough spaces so that visitors to the historic centre, cultural and social events, monuments and museums can almost always park comfortably and without stress.
Do you have an elevator in your garage? Is the car park wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there is a lift in our car park which allows convenient and wheelchair access from the garage to street level.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 24 hours a day, all year round.
How do I get to you?
Access to the car park is along Alšova nábřeží. The entrance to the car park is next to the historic Rudolfinum building.
How can I pay with you?
Payment can be made by credit card or cash at the parking machine in the car park.
Will I get a receipt or invoice?
Our parking meter payment tax receipt has all the legal requirements for use in accounting.

What is the maximum permitted vehicle height?
The maximum height is 2.1 meters—which is sufficient for even the largest SUVs and minibuses.
Can LPG or CNG vehicles be parked at your location?
Sorry, due to Czech safety standards, LPG and CNG vehicles cannot be parked here.

How far is the car park from the Old Town Square and the Prague Astronomical Clock?
Cross Jana Palacha Square and walk along Kaprova Street for about 5 minutes to reach the Old Town Square, where the Prague Astronomical Clock is located on the tower of the Old Town Hall.
How far is the car park from the Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town?
Cross Jana Palacha Square and walk straight down Křížovnická Street to the Charles Bridge in about 5 minutes. If you cross the Charles Bridge, you can walk across the Lesser Side to Prague Castle and return to the car park via Malostranské náměstí and Čechův Most.
How far is the parking lot from Prague Castle and the Lesser Town?
From Jana Palacha Square, cross the Čechův Most Bridge and walk across the Vltava River to the Lesser Town Square below Prague Castle. From Malostranské náměstí up a slight hill after about 400 metres you will come out on Prague Castle. Overall, the walk from OLD TOWN PARKING to Prague Castle via Malostranské náměstí will take you about 30 minutes on average.
How far is the parking lot from the historic Jewish quarter?
From Jana Palacha Square, cross 17 November Street and enter Široká Street, the gateway to the Jewish town. From OLD TOWN PARKING you are in just about 5 minutes of average walking in the historic Jewish quarter.
